In the winter of 2014, founder Derek Winslow drove two hours to the nearest sporting goods megastore to buy a replacement auger blade — only to find limited selection and staff who had never drilled a hole in ice. He drove home empty-handed and thought: "Someone needs to fix this."
Three months later, IceGearPro opened its doors at 12 Amir Temur Avenue in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The concept was radical for the industry at the time: every single employee had to be an active ice angler. No exceptions.
Twelve years later, IceGearPro carries over 2,400 products from the world's best ice fishing brands, serves customers across Central Asia and beyond, and maintains a 4.9-star average across 18,000+ verified customer reviews.
